House Training a Puppy
House Training a Puppy – The Patient way
House training a puppy involves at most patience from the owner. You must have all the time to spend for your puppy. Puppies do not know how to use the bathroom and hence you must not get irritated when they find no proper place to urinate or defecate. You have the responsibility of training them to use the toilet. A little amount of patience in the initial stages will turn out pretty well at the end where the puppy gets accustomed to all of your commands and some routines.
House Training a Puppy – The Methods
Some of the methods that could be employed to train your puppy are quite easy for the puppies to learn. Basically, the puppy is to be trained to behave well in the indoors initially and then in the outdoors. The puppy should be given such a place indoors which has a floor that could be easily cleaned. If you get the signs of the puppy wanting to urinate as it runs in circles or sniffs the ground constantly, you could place it on some paper which could be disposed then. You can gradually place the papers near the door so that it learns to go outside during such situation.
Use of crate is an efficient way of training the puppy. Providing the pup with a crate saves the carpet from getting spoilt and also the puppy gets a safer place to stay when you are not around. Since it doesn’t prefer to urinate near the place where it sleeps, it makes sure not to spoil the area around the crate.
Though training a puppy might be challenging at the initial stages, the pup gets things quickly and you will love to see your puppy obey what you say.
